How do the processes operating in river basins interact to control the supply of material to fluvial channels and how will changes to those interactions alter that supply ? How will the river landscape respond?

Network Transport & Linkages

To what degree are processes operating in the headwaters connected to those in distal downstream locations? How and at what scale does upstream management impact downstream ecosystems and water resources?

Landscape Memory

How does the past (extreme events, land-use, etc.) interact with and impact present and future river processes (channel form, biotic assemblages, water quality, etc.)?
